Music is my outlet. I turn to it in times of joy, times of pain, and times of hope. I have played this song (below) about three dozen times since March. It pulses. It yearns. It hopes. I cannot wait to hear this on the dance floor at a wedding. I won’t be waiting in the wings like I normally do. I will be celebrating. Celebrating doing what I love. I miss it so damn much.

Right now, milestone events, as we have come to know them, are on hold. The small businesses that bring them to life – the planners, the florists, the photographers, the musicians, the cinematographers, the venue owners and managers, the catering chefs, bartenders, and wait staff, the artists and the artisans – are calling upon our elected officials to #saveillinoisevents.
