Real Wedding: Pam & Mike

Real Wedding: Pam & Mike

With the onset of fall, it’s always fun looking back on past autumnal weddings. Pam and Mike’s nuptials are no exception; from the table design to the wedding cake, this timeless occasion is full of fall-inspired details. We love how Pam chose muted florals coupled with succulents for a fresh look. The country club aesthetic brought the outdoors inside with the escort card table, which was created with grass and soft florals. Moving into the reception space, luminous candlelight, votives, and rich fall blooms created a romantic, intimate ambiance for this special evening. Guests danced the night away and enjoyed a decadent, floral adorned cake, ending the night on a sweet note. Enjoy a gallery of some of our favorite photographs below!

For their classic country club wedding, Pam & Mike selected navy letterpress and gold foil invitations.

Pam’s gown and veil were custom designed by local Chicago designer, Victoria Sdoukos.

Our dapper groom pulled elements from his bride’s bouquet for his boutonniere, such as the succulent and fern curl.

The delicate hairpiece, also by Victoria Sdoukos, was the perfect complement to Pam’s look.

The bridesmaids all wore the Jenny Yoo “Aidan” gown, but each chose to style this “convertible” dress in their own unique way.

Mike’s dad made sure he was picture-perfect.

Our beautiful bride is framed perfectly in this vintage Rolls Royce, with her Dad looking on in the background among the Fall leaves.

Pam & Mike posed for a photo before taking off in the getaway car!

Who says the guys can’t have a little fun, too?!

This seriously looks like a Jenny Yoo ad!

Pam’s bouquet featured a muted palette and lots of unexpected touches, including succulents, thistle, seeded eucalyptus, and dusty miller.

The muted tones of Pam’s bouquet are perfect for a Fall wedding!

That’s what we call “the magic hour” for lighting.

I promise – we did not have a wind machine! This moment was true magic!

We brought a little bit of the golf course inside the club by covering the escort card table with grass.

Lanterns containing pillar candles paired with a petite floral arrangement gave the tables a warm and inviting feel.

Haven’t seen a “chocolate” orchid before? Now you have! It’s real name is “Oncidium Sharry Baby” (which is also a super fun name).

Not wanting to obstruct guests’ line of vision, we kept the arrangements low and lush.

Instead of a tear-jerker for the Father/Daughter dance, Pam & her dad strutted their stuff to an oldie but a goodie.

A classic, three-tiered buttercream cake topped with fresh flowers got some love with a sequined linen.
